Eurosatory: Thales launches Digipak
Thales has launched a new digital solution for protected vehicles called Digipak, the company announced from Eurosatory on 14 June.
Digipak is designed to provide land combat forces with information sharing capabilities in support of network-centric operations.
The digitisation kit includes a battlefield management system (BMS), tactical radio and internal communication for crews, compatible with all platform types.
The system mimics smartphone design to be easily operable for operational personnel on the move without lengthy training.
The kit can be supplied as a new-build system or for vehicle retrofit programmes.
