Israel sets up new department to boost development of AI and autonomy
Israel will continue to develop autonomy for its weapons and platforms as it brings together defence personnel, academia and industry.
The South Korean air force is planning to add two Boeing E-737 airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft to its fleet.
The acquisition of these two aircraft are part of a long-term plan, with no dates being specified yet.
The Yonhap news agency in South Korea reported on 9 October that the additional aircraft would mean Seoul is better able to have a continuous AEW&C presence in the air around the clock.
