SOFIC 2012: Systems Technology launches training system

Systems Technology has launched the Fused Reality training system at the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference in Tampa, Florida.

The system mixes the two conventional training technologies of virtual and modelling to create a 'mixed reality visual system', which bridges the gap between the two types of training.

Virtual training 'has no interaction with the real world', while modelling can be expensive, David Landon, president and CEO of the company told Shephard on 23 May. 'What we've developed is a fusion of the two, which allows you to become interactive.'
