Russian Land Forces take on Niobiy-SV radars
The Russian Land Forces have begun the renewal of their long-range early warning radar inventory with the new 1L125 Niobiy-SV 3D mobile system, developed and manufactured by NNIIRT company in Nizhni Novgorod, part of Almaz-Antey group.
The system with claimed ‘anti-stealth’ capability, is slated for deployment by all air defence units equipped with long-range SAM systems according to the Russian Intefax news agency citing high-ranking MoD sources.
