RADA logs $10 million in new orders since mid-July
RADA Electronic Industries has received orders worth $10 million since mid-July 2020, the Israeli company reported on 14 September.
Total cumulative orders for the year to date reached $59 million, or 68% higher than the $35 million received for the same period in 2019.
RADA noted particular demand for its software-defined tactical radars for C-UAV and counter-rocket, artillery, and mortar (C-RAM) applications.
Most new radar orders were follow-ons from existing customers, with deliveries planned in the next six months. RADA has also supplied digital video recorders and debriefing stations for fighter aircraft, along with maintenance orders for its avionics installed base.
Looking ahead, RADA expects full-year 2020 revenues to exceed $70 million, marking a 58% year-on-year increase.
