Controp Precision Technologies is displaying its new infrared (IR) camera, Tornado, for the detection of UAVs at the Paris Air Show 2015.
Already in use with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the company’s primary customer for the system, the Tornado is a 360° panoramic IR camera for air defence.
According to the company, the system is suitable for the detection and tracking of flying objects – from small UAVs to larger aircraft flying at low levels and various speeds.
