Paris Air Show 2013: MALD-J completes operational testing

Operational testing of the Miniature Air-Launched Decoy – Jammer (MALD-J) system for the USAF was completed in May following 16-months of trials.

Raytheon announced at the Paris Air Show on 17 June that since early 2012 MALD-J flew 30 test flights – 15 were standard MALD reliability assessment programme (RAP) flights and the other 15 were MALD-J operational testing flights.
