Milipol Asia 2019: STELOP sees way through all obstacles

Singapore-based company STELOP, an arm of ST Engineering, unveiled two new products at the Milipol Asia 2019 exhibition in Singapore. One is a see-through vehicle vision system, and the other a 360° panoramic EO camera.

The first of these products is known as Nexus, and its ability to see through a barrier wall was demonstrated at the exhibition. Essentially, it gives vehicle crewmen ‘X-ray eyes’ so they can see through the armoured confines of their vehicle.

Vision for crewmen inside AFVs is particularly limited, so Nexus uses externally mounted cameras on the vehicle to gather a view of the surroundings.
