Milipol Asia 2019: Silent Archer raises voice in Asia for first time
SRC made its first foray into the Asian region via an appearance at the Milipol Asia 2019 exhibition in Singapore, with the US company’s Silent Archer counter-UAS (C-UAS) system headlining its range of products.
In March this year, SRC won a $108 million contract to supply mobile Silent Archer C-UAS systems to the US Army. This order followed one for 15 C-UAS sets in 2017.
The components that the US Army selected under the latest contract included the AN/TPQ-49 air surveillance radar with LSTAR software, an EW system with SRC5986A micro-transceiver, a Whisper Hunter direction-finding unit, Night Hawk HT EO/IR
