Marvin Test Solutions releases two MTS-916 simulator variants
Marvin Test Solutions has released two new variants of its MTS-916 modular target simulators line: MTS-916-6 and MTS-916-7. The release was announced on 22 April.
The MTS-916 is a target simulator for optical, infrared and laser guided weapons, and it replaces multiple obsolete target simulators for AGM-65 Maverick and AGM-114 Hellfire missile guidance sections, along with MAU-169 Paveway target seeker kits.
The new MTS-916-6 is designed to test AGM-65E / E2 / L Laser Maverick seeker heads as well as AGM-114B / K / M / N / R Hellfire missiles using the same I-level equipment.
The MTS-916-7 is designed to test laser-guided MAU-169 Paveway munitions.

'The latest versions of the MTS-916 family follow through on our mission to introduce greater commonality and ease of use into armament test by providing maintainers with a common test solution for the popular AGM-65 and AGM-114 weapons systems, considerably simplifying logistics and sustainment costs for operators.'
