Liteye receives follow-on contract for C-AUDS
Liteye Systems has received an $18 million follow-on contract from the US Air Force to deliver its containerised anti-unmanned aircraft systems (C-AUDS), the company announced on 5 September.
The systems will be delivered by the end of 2018.
Liteye C-AUDS solutions have the ability to detect, track, identify and defeat enemy UAS using layered defence technologies.
The containerised system features an advanced operator suite, hardened for use in any climate, that can easily be moved between locations. The platform’s design enables the addition of bolt on technologies in the future as threats evolve in the field.
