Kratos to support NSWCDD radar systems division
Kratos Defense & Security Solutions’ Advanced Naval Weapon Systems has received a $67.5 million contract to provide engineering and technical support services to the US Naval Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Electromagnetic and Sensor Systems Department, the company announced on 4 September.
The five year contract includes a base year and four one year period options.
Under the contract, Kratos will provide radar system engineering and technical support services at NSWCDD test facilities, Kratos facilities and in the field. The work will cover requirements development and analysis, systems engineering, software development, antenna design, signal processing, radar operation, and test and evaluation.
The services will be provided in support of existing, near term and out-year projects/programmes, technology development, technology insertions, prototyping and technology demonstrations and related acquisition efforts.
