Harris to supply radios to New Zealand Army

New Zealand announced in Q1 2019 that Harris Defence Australia had been chosen to deliver a new tactical communications network for the New Zealand Army, as part of its Network Enabled Army (NEA) programme.

This master supply agreement for this Mobile Tactical Command System (MTCS) had actually been signed on 21 December 2018, following what the MoD called an ‘extensive evaluation process [that] took place to test the range of solutions proposed by suppliers’. The MoD issued a closed RfP for the MTCS in September 2017.
