Farnborough: Boeing unveils MSA offering (video)
Boeing Defense, Security & Space will unveil its Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA) at the Farnborough International Airshow in July, company officials have confirmed.
The demonstrator platform, which is based on the Challenger 604 series aircraft (follow-on platforms will be based on the 605 series), completed its first flight demonstration on 28 February.
According to Boeing’s MSA senior business development manager, Bob Schoeffling, the aircraft demonstration will not be airborne but restricted to ground operations comprising the mission systems which include COMINT, ESM, EO/IR, SAR, GMTI and AIS capabilities.
