Farnborough: BAE reveals new HMD (video)
BAE Systems has unveiled its Striker II helmet-mounted display (HMD), which builds upon the helmet on Eurofighter Typhoon and Gripen fleets.
As BAE Systems business development director Chris Colston explained to Shephard Media, the Striker II brings its digital night vision camera inside the helmet, which eliminates the need to manually configure and adjust night vision goggles (NVG) for day-to-night transitions.
