Raytheon and Saudi Arabian company Pannesma have signed a joint venture (JV) agreement to develop a company in the kingdom to develop C4I capabilities.
The agreement for the JV was signed during the Farnborough International Airshow on 10 July and, according to the company, demonstrates Raytheon's 20-year support of Saudi Arabia and aims to provide 'more capable aerospace and defence systems'.
'The establishment of the joint venture allows Raytheon and Pannesma to provide [the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia] with reliable and capable aerospace and defence systems while building on our community involvement in terms of job creation and educational opportunities,'
