Farnborough 2012: Boeing signs Tucano coop agreement with Embraer

Boeing has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Embraer for the former to provide weapon integration on the A-29 Super Tucano for the US Air Force's Light Air Support (LAS) competition.

The MoU was signed during the Farnborough International Airshow on 10 July, and extends a broad relationship agreement between the two companies signed in April.

'We submitted our proposal [for LAS] last month on June 16,' Luiz Carlos Aguiar, president of Embraer Defence and Security told a briefing during the show. 'We now have to wait for a final decision.
