EW Singapore: Italy developing anti-UAV system

To meet an urgent need for a system to counter the threat from rogue UAVs, Elettronica (also known as ELT) continues to develop its ADRIAN (Anti-Drone Interception, Acquisition, Neutralisation) system for Italy’s Ministry of Interior.

The aim with ADRIAN was to produce a system that can protect installations, facilities and venues from all kinds of UAVs, whether from inexperienced operators or terrorists.

Alessio Campana, from ELT’s capability marketing and scientific boards, briefed Shephard on ADRIAN’s developmental progress whilst attending the Electronic Warfare Singapore conference and exhibition from 17-18 January.
