EW Europe: SMART-L MM radar family expanded

Dutch radar specialists Thales Nederland has unveiled a land-based, mobile tactical variant of its new SMART-L MM long-range multi-mission radar system.

The new radar designated SMART-L MM/D (Multi-Mission/Deployable) complements the shipborne SMART-L MM/N (Multi-Mission/Naval) and tower-mounted SMART-L MM/F (Multi-Mission/Fixed) versions, which were purchased for Royal Netherland Navy and Royal Netherlands Air Force respectively.
