Eurosatory: Saab offers EA solutions for ground vehicles
Saab has showcased its portfolio of vehicle electronics (vetronics) products aimed at supporting next-generation electronic architecture (EA) for land mission systems at Eurosatory in Paris.
The company has developed vetronics solutions which it claims integrates seamlessly with vehicle health and usage monitoring systems (HUMS), battle management systems (BMS) and local situational awareness systems (LSAS).
Niclas Lovgren, head of vehicle systems for Saab, told journalists that developing modular electronic vehicle support systems toward an open architecture standard was essential, given the diversity of equipment used by operators.
