Eurosatory: Elbit showcases Long View CR-D
Elbit Systems has launched its Long View CR-D (LVCR-D) target acquisition and designation system at Eurosatory.
An evolution of Elbit’s LVCR technology, the LVCR-D offers optimised munitions guidance, using laser targeting that automates detection, analysis and correction to avoid laser-spot spillover from a target at both short and long ranges, the company claims.
Speaking to Shephard, Roy Zenter, intelligence and electro-optics business development manager for Elbit said the system was a ‘basic entity’ capable of being integrated into a variety of platforms and situations.
