Eurosatory 2012: Elbit extends terrain dominance capabilities

Elbit Systems has launched a range of interoperable terrain dominance systems to add to its array of C4I offerings.

At Eurosatory in Paris, France, the company launched the VWS Radar for Active Protection Systems, the Elsat 2100 satellite-on-the-move (SOTM), and the XACT-NV32 NVG.

The VWS is a radar system for active protection systems, and provides soft and hard protection which can be easily installed onboard any light or heavy armoured vehicle, as well as various stationary applications, Elbit said.
