Esterline’s displays, servers for Thales Hawkei vehicles
Esterline Technologies has signed a contract to supply Thales Australia with rugged displays and servers to be installed in Hawkei protected mobility vehicles, the company announced on 12 September.
Thales Australia selected Esterline’s rugged networked products for the vehicle following an international tender process and extensive trials.
Steven Luys, VP, rugged and ATC, Esterline Advanced Displays, said: ‘For Esterline, this deal confirms that we have the solutions in place to equip new-generation protected vehicles that are built around the generic vehicle architecture.
‘We are delighted to deliver the displays and servers to create common situational awareness in this much-applauded, next-generation vehicle.’
