DST and Aselsan to form JV
Taqnia Defense and Security Technologies (DST) has signed an agreement with Aselsan for the formation of a joint venture company in Saudi Arabia, Aselsan announced on 30 November.
The joint venture will operate in the field of radar, electronic warfare and electro-optic technologies, for the Saudi Arabian market.
As the Turkish armed forces foundation company, Aselsan's expertise in this sector will inject valuable knowledge into the bourgeoning Saudi defence industry.
The agreement was signed between DST and Aselsan during the opening ceremony of the fourth Electronic Warfare Symposium held at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology.
