Israel sets up new department to boost development of AI and autonomy
Israel will continue to develop autonomy for its weapons and platforms as it brings together defence personnel, academia and industry.
ITCosmos exhibited it its Ground Oscillatory Wave Locating System (GOWLs) at DSEI Japan 2019, this being a generic name for a device that locates a vibration source using ground vibration waves. It has just achieved a sale in Japan.
The GOWLs includes a Firing-Objective Point Detection System and an Invader Detection System, and both systems were exhibited at the exhibition. The former consists of a white dome that serves as a PDS-2500 portable vibration detection unit, while a black cylinder represents the PDS-5000/PDS-5500 portable invader detection unit.
According to ITCosmos, it signed a contract with the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force
