DSEI 2013: Elbit releases next-gen jammer

Elbit Systems has introduced a new generation of its vehicle jamming system that focuses on a specific frequency common to IED control.

The Mini Reactive Jammer (MRJ) derives from previous systems that ‘denied all kind of threats’, including operators’ own communications systems, which led to the development of the specific C-IED system.

‘We are able to detect and monitor the system with the capability to jam,’ Shmuel Davidi, senior director of marketing and sales department, BMD and Land EW business line, told Shephard at the DSEI exhibition in London. 

‘We are able to comply with requirements from conflict to conflict.
