DroneShield releases DroneGun MKIII
DroneShield has introduced DroneGun MKIII as an alternative to its DroneGun Tactical unit, the company announced on 14 July.
DroneGun MKIII is a portable pistol-shape drone jammer designed to provide countermeasures against UAS. Weighing under 2kg, the system can be operated by one hand and has an effective range of 500m, making it a more tactical solution than the larger DroneGun Tactical which has a range of 1-2km.
The system can be used in combination with other DroneShield products, including the RfPatrol body-worn detection device and the DroneSentinel stationary multi-sensor detection system.
