EW Europe: UK to export EW data
Interoperability and establishing global partnerships in the electromagnetic environment (EME) is essential for operational planning.
This is why the UK has set up the Electronic Warfare Operational Support Service (EWOS) as a way to improve global Electronic Warfare (EW) cooperation and management of industry’s role in the EME market.
The EWOS partnership was formed by the UK Ministry of Defence and UK Department of Trade and Industry to enable the regulated export of UK-sourced EW data to MoD-approved global customers.
EW data can be exported to international customers through government-to-government arrangements or on a case-by-case basis. This has provided a boost to UK defence exports whilst also
