Israel sets up new department to boost development of AI and autonomy
Israel will continue to develop autonomy for its weapons and platforms as it brings together defence personnel, academia and industry.
Controp has received a contract from an unnamed defence customer in Asia to supply electro-optic (EO) and infra-red (IR) systems, the company announced on 3 July.
Under the $31 million contract, the company will provide the systems and services over a 20-month period.
