Boeing plans to further beef up its cyber security credentials in Asia following the official launch of a new cyber analytics facility in Singapore.

The company opened the Boeing Cyber Analytics Centre (BCAC) in Singapore on July 8 as part of its aims to bring advanced cybersecurity and services to South East Asia.

The collaboration platform allows various agencies and organisations to proactively respond to potential cyberattacks.

Speaking at the centre’s opening, Per Beith, Boeing Information Security Solutions director, highlighted the threat of cyber-attacks, which could result in the loss of hundreds of millions worth of productivity and damages.
