AUSA 2018: Army's next-gen IBCS progresses

Industry is preparing to speed up fielding of the US Army’s next-generation air and missile defence command and control (C2) system, which will form the backbone of the service’s Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) infrastructure.

The IAMD Battle Command System (IBCS) is currently going through the latter stages of developmental testing with prime contractor Northrop Grumman, with the US Army planning to roll out the C2 system at the beginning of next decade.
