New Zealand boosts defence spend to US$6.6 billion and vows increased closeness with Australia
This budget will be spent over the next four years and nearly doubles the country’s defence spending as part of GDP to 2%.
Wizz Air launches Lviv?Venice Treviso service
Wizz Air has announced that it plans to launch a new service between Lviv in Ukraine to Venice Treviso in Italy on 14 May.
Flights will initially operate twice a week on brand new Airbus 320s. Wizz Air already operates a flight between Kyiv and Venice Treviso which was launched in October 2009.
