USCG commandant calls for trust building in arctic region

Russia and China may be rushing to plant their flag in the melting arctic circle but now is the time to strengthen ties and build trust, according to outgoing US Coast Guard commandant ADM Paul Zukunft.

Speaking on 8 May at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Zukunft called on increased communication between arctic nations and enhanced efforts to establish a better rapport.
