Saab not feeling ‘immediate consequences’ of coronavirus crisis

Manufacturer Saab has said that it will not speculate on how the unfolding COVID-19 pandemic will disrupt company plans or financial expectations, but confirmed that the Gripen E/F fighter programme continues to run to schedule and in line with customer expectations.

‘We have not seen a crisis on this scale in modern times,’ Ellen Mollin, head of business area support and services at Saab, said during a company Gripen briefing on 26 March. ‘The coronavirus will affect all companies all over the world in different ways and to different extents and Saab is no exception.’
