Suspension of investment plan could hit Slovenian procurement
Long-term procurement programmes in Slovenia may be affected by the suspension of a government investment plan for defence.
The Act on the Provision of Funds for Investments in the Armed Forces from 2021 to 2026, which earmarks a €780 million ($917 million) fund to improve and modernise the services, came into force in December 2020.
However, the plan was suspended on 11 January by the Constitutional Court to analyse its compliance with national law.
