Paris Air Show 2013: Finmeccanica chief outlines strategic plans

Finmeccanica is pushing forward with improving its internal and external strategy to grow its business further with a focus on creating a more integrated group, and increasing sales in emerging markets.

The strategic plan for the company was outlined at Paris Air Show on 17 June by Allessandro Pansa, CEO of Finmeccanica. 

The merger of Selex Sistemi Integrati, Selex Galileo and Selex Communications into Selex ES is nearly completed, and the company is currently in the process of site rationalisation and engineering and product optimisation, which should result in €250 million annual cost efficiencies by 2016/2017, Panasa explained.
