Ocean Eagle 40 design makes waves
CMN has launched a new multirole fast patrol boat design named Ocean Eagle 40 at the IDEX/NAVDEX exhibition in Abu Dhabi.
Ocean Eagle 40 is a multi hull-form vessel that can achieve a high speed of 30kt and is capable of conducting electronic warfare; surveillance and reconnaissance missions; and can launch and recover UAS.
The company said the design was developed to meet requirements expressed by navies and coast guards, which need a fast craft that have additional capabilities to expand beyond traditional patrolling missions using standard sensors to a vessel with more intelligent systems.
