For the first time, Indonesia’s defence industry has gathered its capabilities together under the umbrella of the Indonesia Pavilion at LIMA 2015.

The pavilion is being supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Defence, which recognises the importance of strengthening local industry.

Among the companies being represented is PT Pindad (Persero), a state owned enterprise company, that has been producing defence and security products for the Indonesia National Armed Forces and Indonesia National Police for years. According to officials, PT Pindad products have been exported to various Southeast Asian countries and combat vehicles have supported United Nation peacekeeping efforts since 2010.
