ITEC 2012: General promotes 'e-NATO' concept

The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) must embrace the 'electronic' or e-NATO concept in order to maximise education and training processes, a senior official has admitted.

Addressing delegates at ITEC in London, Lt Gen Karlheinz Viereck, NATO deputy chief of staff, joint force training at Headquarters Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (HQ SACT) warned that the alliance must move away from 'complicated' training initiatives.
