IDEX 2015: CAE eyes Gulf opportunities
CAE wants to increase its share of training for local armed forces in the GCC area as they modernise their equipment and look to enhance education and training.
According to Gene Colabatistto, group president - defence and security, the challenge for armed forces in the region will be ‘not only to operate these platforms safely, but to also quickly and effectively build the competencies required to use them in operations.’
He believes this is where CAE can be a ‘good partner’ in the region. ‘If you want to be successful in this business you have to be close to your customer,
