Farnborough: BAE Systems identifies F-16 upgrade market potential

BAE Systems remains optimistic that its F-16 upgrade package has future opportunities with a number of air forces internationally, it was revealed at the Farnborough International Airshow on 14 July.

Following a contract award to upgrade South Korea’s fleet of F-16s, John Bean, VP and General Manager of Global Fighter Programmes for BAE Systems, said he was optimistic that the company would have access to the majority of what he predicted to be a $5 billion market over the next five years.
