Farnborough 2018: First RAF P-8A Poseidon delivery confirmed

The RAF’s first of nine Boeing P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft will be delivered to the service in November 2019, with its second aircraft following in early 2020, the US Navy has revealed.

The handover, which will see the aircraft brought to RAF Lossiemouth in Scotland - after initial acceptance and training in the US -  is part of a wider manufacturing programme for US allies involved in FMS contracts – currently taking place at Boeing’s P-8 assembly facility in Seattle.
