Farnborough 2016: Industry continues to fleece UK MoD
UK defence companies that continue to charge the Ministry of Defence (MoD) unnecessarily for goods or services will be ‘named and shamed’ in a January report, it has emerged.
Independent watchdog the Single Source Regulations Office (SSRO) has found that new regulations have failed to curtail such incidents of overcharging and ‘more has to be done’ by defence companies, the MoD and Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) to comply.
