Farnborough 2012: Boeing stresses international strength and competitiveness

The leadership of Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has outlined some of their main ambitions in the logistics platform market as the company looks to sustain its market position through expanded international sales.

'We've just come off a great year for international business,' said Chris Raymond, VP business development, speaking on the eve of the Farnborough International Airshow.

In 2011 24% of BDS' revenues were from international business. Dennis Muilenburg, BDS CEO, said that was a trend the company wanted to continue and that he expected to see international business reach the company target of between 25 and 30%
