Fallon tries to reassure SDSR critics
UK defence secretary Michael Fallon has responded to criticism about the upcoming Strategic Defence and Security Review (SDSR).
There are concerns that the review will neither be strategic in scope nor will it consult as widely as it should.
Furthermore the House of Commons Defence Select Committee has initiated an inquiry into SDSR threat assessment and is questioning the MoD’s ability to evaluate threats to the UK.
