Eurosatory: European defence in a ‘difficult period’, says ADS
The European defence market is placed in secondary consideration to other regions as spending constraints reduce opportunities, says Paul Everitt, chief executive of ADS.
‘This is quite a difficult period for the European defence industry. Spending constraints within EU member states are expected to continue for a significant time,’ he said.
ADS is a trade organisation representing the UK aerospace industry and Everitt believes that in the constrained domestic European market there is a focus on getting the best value for money.
‘Various opportunities emerge from this as the industry can help to deliver support and services that provide efficiency
