D&S 2013: BAE Systems sets out stall in Asia
Like many other companies, BAE Systems is looking to Asia, and South East Asia in particular, as an important future market to grow the business.
Speaking to Shephard at Defence and Security 2013, Ryan Ives, business director Thailand, outlined BAE Systems strategy in the region and its hopes for future growth.
'We’ve been established in the region for many years and we have an installed base of equipment along with opportunities for future business in just about every ASEAN market,' Ives explained.
'Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Brunei are all currently seeking a range of defence, aerospace and security solutions
