D&S 2015: Embedded training for Thai T-50

Thailand’s lead-in fighter trainer (LIFT) aircraft being procured from Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) will be the first equipped with an Embedded Tactical Training System (ETTS).

Lee Su Kyu, KAI’s senior manager and chief of international business development in Asia, told Shephard at Defence & Security 2015 in Bangkok that the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) will be the first customer to use the integrated ETTS. Furthermore, the Republic of Korea Air Force will not also adopt it on its own T-50 Golden Eagle fleet.
