Croatia sets out its 2020 procurement vision
Salient features of the Croatian defence procurement programme for 2020 were unveiled on 6 February, with new detail provided on plans to purchase new aircraft and armoured vehicles.
The overall defence budget of HRK5.34bn ($786.21m) for 2020 includes HRK2.2bn for procurement, including the acquisition of UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters, selection of a new multirole fighter aircraft, and equipping the army with Bradley IFVs (pictured).
Croatian Minister of Defence Damir Krstičević mentioned that procurement plans include four new UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters for the Croatian Army by 2022, although a US FMS approval in October 2019 only gave the green light
