Angola takes delivery of 12 Su-30K fighters
The Belorussian 558 ARP company has completed the deliveries of all 12 refurbished and upgraded Sukhoi Su-30K heavyweight multi-role fighters ordered by Angola.
This was revealed by Alexander Vorobey, deputy director, responsible for the business development at 558 ARP. It has been reported that the last batch of four Su-30Ks from the order for 12 aircraft were transported by air to Luanda in April.
Vorobey also said that the Angolan Su-30Ks were upgraded to a standard identical to the Su-30SM as operated by the Russian and Kazakhstani air arms, capable to employ the Kh-31A supersonic anti-ship missile, Kh-31P anti-radar missile and
